Michael B. Jordan Shares His Excitement for Filming ‘I Am Legend 2’ Alongside Will Smith

Michael B. Jordan shared his eagerness regarding the casting of Will Smith in the much awaited sequel of I Am Legend which was released in the year 2007. The very first movie of the series based on Richard Matheson’s novel was quite popular, as it presented Will Smith as Dr. Robert Neville to the audience who were won over. Particularly now, as Jordan joins in the franchise, fans are anxious to see how the continuation will surprise them, and how the story will develop.

In a recent interview, Jordan spoke for the first time about how excited he was to work with Smith saying that it is a ‘dream come true’. He appreciated Smith’s work as well as contributions in the field saying that there was a pressure but also an aspect of doing something great. “Will is someone I have looked up to for many years and to be on screen with him is a surreal step of my journey,” said Jordan. ”I’ve watched his movies all my life, and now being part of this great story helps me to fulfill my dream as a child looking at the poster.’’

Jordan, recognized courtesy of Black Panther and Creed, has no qualms when it comes to high budget action films. Besides, joining the I Am Legend world evolves to another level of difficulty. The sequel is said to explore the worlds of the epidemic more, emphasizing will to stand, manage, and create against the downfall, and it is expected that J’s character will add a different twist to it.
