Bridgerton-themed party was evident when Hollywood pop star Jennifer Lopez recently marked her 55th birthday in grand style. Jennifer Lopez turned it up on this particular occasion in a stunning, elegant, custom-made Manish Malhotra gown that complemented the singer’s beauty and underlined that age is a mere number.
The designer said that he felt privileged to design the gown for the Atlas actor for her birthday event and took the chance to promote the exquisite artistry of India in the dress. Manish Malhotra posted on Instagram the details of the work that went into creating the off-shoulder gown for Jennifer Lopez.
Mastering the level of artisanship, it took 40 artists 3490 work hours to carve out this piece of jewelry. This dress had a clearly defined corset and a skirt inspired by the Victorian era. The show is set in the Regency era, but mixing style eras typically doesn’t harm anyone. Geometric flowers were appliquéd on the dress; over 500,000 sequins and Swarovski crystals were hand-modeled on the dress and became one of the major themes of the looks.
The growth was modernized with a middle slit that reached right up to her knees. Manish Malhotra described his efforts in every detail of the gown the designer created. Both petal and ring-shaped metal sequins had to undergo processing to retain their colors.
She wore a small pendant, studs, and mesh gloves with her headgear to compliment her stylish look and tied her hair into a bun. She appropriately rounded up her glamorous dress with glitzy, chunky heels that gave her royal allure. She chose a theme for the series ‘Bridgerton,’ and everything was decorated in the spirit of the Regency era. Royal elements, including horse carriages, elaborate courtyards, live orchestras, especially string quartets and ball dances, ensured the environment was magical.
Adapted from the books written by Julia Quinn, the series focuses on the adventures of the Bridgerton family during the Regency era in England, where numerous aristocratic families try to impress each other during multiple social events, balls, and other official meetings.
