Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is still not a nominee for this year’s Country Music Association Awards, despite the mega-hit album “Cowboy Carter”. The artist, who has been voted many times in the Grammy award category, needed to be added to the nominations, this time to the extent of not being nominated in the Album of the Year category for her eighth sonic offering.

These are some of the most prestigious awards in the nation’s music industry. Supporters anticipated that with her groundbreaking and culturally transformative project, this year’s megastar would become the first black woman to win Album of the Year and receive a nomination.
