Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may be gone as a couple, but people still enjoy watching “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” And this 49-year-old ex-miss agreed to pose with a poster of the 2005 action movie, in which she starred along with her ex-husband during the New York Film Festival on Monday night.
Jolie looked relaxed just before autographing her name beside her face on the poster. She seemed to shy away from looking at the image of her former husband before proceeding with her night. During the movie premiere at the film festival, a mother of six wore a black coat accompanied by nude high heels and black aviator sunglasses.
The star of the “Maria” movie made her appearance more attractive with red nail polish and nude lipstick. Jolie styled her golden tresses most simply and justifiably: straight hair. Jolie and Pitt, 60, portrayed a husband-and-wife team of assassins in the film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” The blockbuster came out in the year the actor was ending his marriage with Jennifer Aniston. Jolie and Pitt decided to end their marriage in 2016 and were officially separated in 2019.
Though the duo has completed most of the time, the two have been involved in several lawsuits. Last week, Jolie withdrew her case regarding her appeal to the FBI for prosecution of an abuse case that happened in a private plane in 2016. Though no criminal charges were pursued against Pitt then, Theron‘s “Maleficent’ star filed for divorce shortly after that.
The two celebrated divorcees have six children for them. The couple also legally adopted three of their children: sons Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, and daughter Zahara, 19. Jolie adopted her children, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, 18, and siblings Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt, 16, and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt, 16.
The theatrical star, accompanied by three of her children to the ‘Maria’ premiere on Sunday, avoided answering a question regarding her separation from Pitt in this month’s Hollywood Reporter. When asked about the status of their divorce, Jolie set “firm boundaries” and told the reporter, “No.” After her youngest children become adults, the Oscar winner disclosed that she intends to relocate from Los Angeles.
Recently, Angelina Jolie has been promoting Maria, the movie in which she plays the late opera singer Maria Callas. Jolie dazzled the Venice Film Festival crowd last month, earning an eight-minute standing ovation for her performance.
Since November 2022, Pitt has been connected to jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, with whom he is currently dating.
