In a recent interview, Zayn Malik won over many fans with a cute story about his daughter Khai and her cuteness when she finds out that her father is a singer. The former One Direction star who has pursued a career as a pop soloist since the year 2015 talked about this story while on a discussion on the show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Khai, who is three years old, according to Zayn has been totally ignorant of his other non music career, until they went on a family trip. She was quiet during, but some time into that song, her eyes lit up and she exclaimed, “Daddy, is that you?” The illustrious singer narrated how he was amazed by her, further stating that the episode marked a proud achievement for the two of them.
He explained, “It was so weird, it was great, seeing such a string of thought from her.” “I thought at some point, she’d piece it together. Just not this quick. It is these kinds of events that make the struggle worthwhile.”
Khai’s reaction for Zayn Sr. was an emotional one bringing out all his memories, more so of how he wishes to shape Zayn Jr. as she develops. He expressed the need to keep one’s feet on the ground and the family close, in spite of the glitzy world of showbiz.
Most of Zayn’s followers have accepted this insight into Zayn as a father figure and in fact many of the followers took to social networks to post their beautiful parenting experiences. The performer, who for a long time has sought to find the ‘normal life’ that often is hard amongst celebrities, appreciated these small things with Khai, which reminded him what’s important.
While Zayn’s fans have the opportunity to listen to more of his works in the near future, his mind is still unclouded by fuzzy labels: the best love room for his child will be for sure made by him. Khai having understood how divine her daddy’s music is, it’s fans’ imagination only how they will enjoy many new moments together in the coming years.
