“In the latest Hunger Games prequel, Haymitch Abernathy is up against his biggest obstacle.”

A new Hunger Games prequel novel will take the readers back to Panem, but this time, they will visit it, emphasizing the young Haymitch Abernathy. Suzanne Collins’ new book begins in the 50th Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell. The publisher, Scholastic, recently released a new synopsis of the novel of the type people have been waiting for.

In ‘Sunrise on the Reaping,’ one will remember Panem twenty-four years before the events of the Hunger Games story. They shall participate in the brutal games that happen every reaping morning when children of the districts are selected. What was once every seventy-five years is happening now: this is a quarter quell, the 50th Hunger Games.

Therefore, the nature of the Hunger Games involving children became even more frightening every 25 years. It is more dangerous than ever as the number of tributes increases to 48 from 24 during the Second Quarter Quell. Haymitch Abernathy is the principal author; if most readers are unfamiliar with this author, they have learned about it from the series. He had already transformed into a teenage boy struggling to live another day of his life in District 12. Then I realized he liked that girl and wanted to be around her. It is said that when his name was chosen in the process of reaping, he broke all the things he had been hoping to be.

Haymitch is forced to go to the Capitol with three others from his home district, including his best friend, a guy who keeps track of the odds, and a snobby girl. As strange as it may sound, there are certain instincts within Haymitch urging him to fight more, not to live but to bring down a great deal.

In an interview, Suzanne Collins admitted that she drew from David Hume for ‘Sunrise on the Reaping.’ She wanted the readers to realize how a few dominate the many, the chief of which is through the use of propaganda and masters of storytelling. From Collins’ point of view, the question of “Real or not real?” north of the genuine original of ‘Hunger Games’ seems to propel the contemporary even more.

After the publication of ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,’ a prequel whose storyline takes place in Panem, fans eagerly waited to see whether more stories were in store. Just after the release of that book, Collins came *to Sunrise on Reaping* to release it, and Lionsgate made sure that the book would be taken to the big screen. Speaking of the previous *Hunger Games* film director, Francis Lawrence, said that he wanted to return to the series, but only if Collins were in the storyline for writing because, to him, the quality of production such a venture deserves.

According to what has been said, there was one thing that Lawrence enjoyed most about the original series: the stories were deep, and they also had a point to make. He stated that as the previous books covered a period concerning the consequences of war, this book would address the humanity question. Thus, one should expect a new take on how the ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’ storyline will fit into the framework of ‘The Hunger Games.’ The book will also describe the political and emotional process of entering into Panem’s politics.
