One of the TV show’s members, Finn Wolfhard, recently shared some information about the ‘The IT’ set shoot and a ghost encounter he was lucky to have. As said by the actor, while it might be the fact that some person was only teasing him, it was terrifying. Finn Wolfhard was involved in a couple of horror movies.
Knowing him and all those horror movies and episodes of Ghost Hunters, he is very used to the horrific backdrop and shady illumination; however, he thinks there was a time in his childhood when he saw a ghost. This was at the time he did the movie that was released in 2007, ‘IT.’ The young actor admitted in front of the court that when shooting, he noticed a man from the crew on the top of the floors of the sets; however, besides this man, no one else saw him or found such a man on the sets.
Wolfhard said that interviewing with People magazine was scary. The actor said, “I have worked in many films modeled around supernatural spooky films and television series, but guess what? I have never witnessed a ghost in my life.” He added, “But there was a time when I was a kid shooting it in this abandoned mansion in Toronto, and a bunch of the other cast and I were exploring floors.”Continuing, the actor added, “We went up to the upper story, and there was one room where we saw a man in black, who appeared to be an electrician and thought, ‘That’s only a crew member,’ but afterward found out that nobody knew him and people never saw him again.”
The Stranger Things actor said that it might have been a case of someone trying to prank him, but it was something he had never looked forward to being around. As for the actor’s horror movies and TV shows, Wolfhard has appeared in ‘The Turning,’ ‘The Addams Family,’ ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife,’ and ‘Frozen Empire,’ among a few others. On ‘IT,’ Finn played Richie Tozier, who, along with his friends, gets terrorized by the demonic activities around them in the form of a dancing clown, portrayed by Bill Skarsgard. The film also featured Sophia Lillis, Jaden Lieberher, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Jeremy Ray Taylor. It is available for streaming on Netflix.
