Anita Lallian, the new owner of the house owned by Mathew Perry in Los Angeles, has strong links with India and has given a rare insight into how she came to buy the house. Anita, a successful real estate developer/film producer, insists she did the Hindu ceremony before moving into the house in Perry’s honor. Anita recently used Instagram to announce her excitement about purchasing the home she called her new ideal house.

At once, she fell in love with the house because it had the most spectacular ocean view. She also wanted to make the point that she had never felt any ill vibes there and wondered why there should be one since Perry was found dead in the same house last year. She posted a picture of a man dressed as a pandit conducting some ceremony on the pool deck and one of the pools with a view of the house behind it.

In the previous interview, Anita said that her mother came to the US when she was young, exactly when she was two. She was born in India and had turned 22 when the photo was taken. One of Anita’s customs in the Hindu religion was her desire to bless the house and introduce good energy into it. For instance, during the interview, she said that although she intended to change some of the layouts inside the house, she would retain some things the previous owner used.

Some of them are the logos of Batman swimming in the pool. She insisted there was no correlation between the decision to buy the house and the subsequent association with Matthew Perry; they liked it too much. They ourselves want to pay tribute to all the joys and entertainment that Perry provided to them. According to People, Perry sold his Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles residence for $8.55 million. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms and is 3,500 square feet.

Matthew had purchased the home for around $6 million in 2020. The ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry died aged 54 on October 28, 2023, reportedly from the acute effects of ketamine drowning and coronary artery disease. The investigation is currently underway.
