For most people, Adam Sandler may be known as an Oscar actor or a comedian, however, he is also widely known for his choice of dressing styles which leans to the more casual look .Sandler thanks to the fashion industry has become known for his infamous uniform of t-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
Recently, in a rather unconventional Sandler interview he opened up about the comfort of different clothes and gave some useful tips on how to achieve the same “dad style” that he has. Sandler (a guy who is wearing Adidas and Nike all the time) is obsessed with shoes and branded casual sneakers, so it is no wonder that he is a big fan of the fashion world himself.
“When it comes to sneakers, it’s pretty obvious that I like them,” Sandler stressed. “Every kind of sneaker and style is quite interesting to me. They are the most pleasant shoes to wear and one can wear them with almost everything.”
As it was expected, none of the suggestions provided in Sandler’s book mentioned what to wear. However, this is where the direction of how one should wear comes in. For dad’s that is the key advice – well, for everyone, really – is to keep comfort and self-confidence in the forefront instead of fashion dictates.
“Be yourself,” he said. “Stop pretending to be a person who you are not. The practical wisdom when the question of dressing comes: wear what feels good and what can make you feel good about yourself.”
This particular writer Sandler is likely to appeal to many, especially those who like comfort more than the wear and the intricacies of fashion, and thus his simplicity evokes a great admiration. In a world where fashion becomes too burdening and sometimes, inappropriate Sandler’s arguments are a relief.
Interestingly, Sandler also spoke about his work outside the confines of style, reporting that he has too many projects at the moment. He hasn’t finished filming “Murder Mystery 2”, a sequel to the well-received comedy on Netflix, but is already busy working on another project “Bedtime Stories”, an animated series.
Of course, Sandler makes sure not to neglect the father side of himself when it comes to the activities of raising three children. The family is one of the highest priorities for the star and as such, the level of the star’s fashion is commensurate with that of work, play and childcare.
As a side note, whenever he finds the courage to transcend his decade-old limitations Sandler seems to always be chasing the elusive memory of her mother. And just as his uncontested approach goes on screen and off, so does his dressing style as the time-saving, father friendly style.
