Ariana Grande was recently on as a host of Saturday Night Live. Some of those moments were outstanding; one was when she did something ridiculous about being the only character named Antonio. This sketch was done at the behest of her boyfriend, Ethan Slater, though, of course. Little Antonio has got its first nemesis.

I see Ariana’s sketch depicted as Antonio, a male youngster emasculated for musical vagina dentata to surprise a prince with a high-pitched voice. In the sketch, Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg return to play the concerned parents of Antonio. Ariana made her skit very funny, and it was quickly one of the most loved skits of the night.
The audience learned some funny stories and anecdotes from the backstage of the live show, where Ariana’s good friend, the actress Elizabeth Gillies, was present. She also shared several party snaps and videos, such as the one wherein Ariana dressed as “Little Antonio.” She captioned the posts of her performance to congratulate her friend on yet another great night hosting ‘SNL,’ saying: Well done once again on another fantastic SNL show, my Dingus. And Little Antonio—what words do I have permission to speak? Ethan Slater, who also used to visit Ariana, could not refrain from making a funny comment on the post.
He wanted her to “Live, Laugh, Little Antonio” and compliment Ariana for a hilarious rendition. As the star of ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical,’ Ethan seemed to be having the best time watching the sketch and got into the celebratory mood of the evening. The official after-party for the evening was at L’Avenue at Saks in New York City – an excellent place for Ariana and Ethan to continue where they had left off.

The guest appearance of Ariana on ‘SNL’ was great and full of hilarious and comical episodes, but the “Antonio” sketch was what I think was the natural comedic pearl for me. With the help of her friends like Elizabeth and her boyfriend Ethan, it appears that Ariana had so much love and encouragement given to her as she hosted again for ‘SNL.’
