Just before voters witnessed one of the best-known moments of the election, they saw the former President-to-be in a fictional scene of his childhood.
“The Apprentice,” a biopic film about Trump’s ascendancy in the 1970 and 1980s, debuted its first official trailer on Tuesday morning. The character of Trump is portrayed by Sebastian Stan, who is an actor in Marvel films.
The movie shows Trump interacting with a lawyer named Roy Cohn, who informs Trump there are only two things in this world, namely killers and losers, which leads to Trump’s business and societal rise in the film.
This is the reason Donald Trump and his campaign have in the past threatened legal action against the filmmakers, labeling it “pure malicious defamation.”
Sebastian Stan, a Romanian actor, will portray Trump.
Stan is an actor who portrayed the Winter Soldier (James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes) in a couple of Marvel films. He acted as Tommy Lee with co-star Lily James in ‘Pam & Tommy. “
Cohn will be portrayed by the talented and versatile actor Jeremy Strong, who features in ‘Succession.’
The movie will go to cinemas on 11 October.
