Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, and Jeremy Pope are among the actors to be cast in The Beauty, an upcoming drama series for FX by Ryan Murphy.
This represents a return to the fold for the duo who worked with Mars on nine episodes of the ‘American Horror Story’ series, ‘Pose’ and ‘Monster’. As stated by entertainment news outlet The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on a 2016 graphic novel, “The Beauty” by Jeremy Haun and Jason A Hurley.
There is still no information on the rest of the storyline. However, the graphic novel is set in a world where sexually transmitted diseases can break out all over the world because it can make people more sexually appealing.
Shortly, two detectives come across plans about the ailments’ incarnation. The show on which ‘The Beauty’ is based is co-created by Murphy alongside writer and exec-producer Matt Hodgson.
Production is expected to start in the second half of the year.
