Ryan Gosling has been filming for the movie in South sea where he will be the lead in a movie version of Andy Weir’s novel. Fans are now going wild in excitement after the shooting of the movie in the picturesque seaside town wherein Gosling was photographed clad in character.
The film, by the acclaimed team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, tells the story of astronaut Ryland Grace, played by Gosling, as he embarks on an urgent quest to save humanity. The story goes as he wakes up alone in a spaceship and has to work out the mysterious crisis that faces Earth. It is the last days for Earth as such stakes could not be any more critical, and bringing the depth and intensity by Gosling is what one can expect for this complex character.
Set photos have surfaced on social media showing Gosling in a futuristic space suit bearing plenty of high-tech gadgets. His role perfectly complements the striking backdrop of South sea, imbuing that intergalactic tale with a strange charm. Against this vibrant seafront and historic architecture, South sea is the film’s backdrop, muddled by heavy themes of isolation and survival.
A notably talented ensemble makes up the rest of the cast, including veteran and rising star Daniel Dae Kim and Ana de Armas. Their on-screen chemistry is already doing much to stir the buzz, with glimpses of behind-the-scenes interactions between characters that promise so much.
