Jennifer Lopez is not allowing her divorce from Ben Affleck to keep her from attending the premiere of a film that they both starred in; Ben, on the other hand, is absent. J Lo set the tone for Friday’s big debut for her and Ben’s movie dubbed “Unstoppable”, which runs at the Toronto International Film Festival, and she’s half-naked in this bejeweled dress.
Ben collaborated with his BFF, Matt Damon — the film chronicles the life of Anthony Robles, a wrestler who was born with one leg and struggled a lot to become an NCAA Division I champion at Arizona State University. Jennifer plays the wrestler’s mother, and there have been rumors circulating that it is an Oscar-worthy production.
The premiere is a little over two weeks after Jen filed to divorce Ben, and the latter is not in Toronto for the film’s premiere, you know. He was seen celebrating in L.A. on Friday, to be precise, where photographers spotted him giving one of the brightest smiles that the man has ever given to the world.
According to our sources, Ben is currently filming ‘The Accountant 2’ and shooting scenes as well as enjoying Father’s Day with his children this upcoming weekend, which is why we did not have to run off to TIFF to watch the flick at its premiere. The two do not have a prenuptial agreement; everything that they would have been able to buy for roughly two years of their marriage is community property, and these include Ben’s production company, Artists Equity (AE), which made “Unstoppable.”
In other words, J Lo would be free to receive a proportion of the gross earnings of the recent and upcoming AE scheme stirrers such as “Air”, “The Instigators”, “Small Things Like These”, “The Accountant 2” and “Unstoppable”.
Last month, our insiders said that Ben and Jen have been getting into negotiations for quite some time, yet the process has failed to advance. No wonder Ben’s hanging back in Los Angeles while Jen makes a splash at the premiere.
