In motherhood, she penned, “The cruel thing about it is you’re raising the individual who you cannot survive without… to survive without you.” Kardashian has four children with her ex-husband Kanye West: Daughter North, son Saint, daughter Chicago, and son Psalm, aged 11 years, 8 years, 6 years, and 5 years, respectively.
After that, she used a sad tear, thinking about the things running through her mind while contemplating her life as a mom. This is coming at a time when stories make it look like Kanye West is not really in touch with his kids. A source close to Kardashian said she is “pretty much a single mom” because West is unfortunately not home much of the time to help look after the kids.
Nevertheless, it is evident that all the responsibilities of motherhood, including having nannies and the other staff around, still fall on Kardashian. On Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast in May 2023, she explained the harrowing experience of being a single mother. She said that even though she hired a nanny to look after the children and a chef to cook for the family, she used to sit up, shedding tears.
In the end, the kids only had their mother entangled in the Cocaine Trade, the last supper before her demise; she emphasized that no amount of wealth can substitute for what their children craved physiologically – a parent’s care. In the words of Kardashian, all the issues her children encounter have nothing to do with the financial or merchandising assistance she provides them with but refer to the fact that one of the parents is missing.
Kardashian and West were officially divorced in November, three months after Kardashian had filed for a separation in February. The settlement on shared custody was reached, that is, “equitable access,” and West was liable to pay $200,000 monthly as child support. He is also expected to cover half the expenses of providing the children with security and education. However, Kardashian has come out in public to take ownership of their children’s psychological upbringing. This fact continues to appear in her public and private reflections on motherhood.
