This Year More magic is in store as Lollapalooza 2024 gears up for a festival of celebrations in Chicago’s Grant Park from 1st to 4th August. As every year, Lollapalooza would not disappoint the audience this time too, and for this year the genres appear interesting, and no exception was done with a perfect lineup of star power, emerging talent, and international appeal either this year.
Significant headliners to look forward to this year include:’ SZA, Tyler, The Creator, Blink-182, The Killers, Skrillex, Hozier’.
Even for those new to the festival circuit with more than a few big acts like Metro Boomin, Melanie Martinez, and Future X, K-pop group ‘Stray Kids’ promises bangin’ performances. The electronic-headlined lineup brings performers on Perry’s Stage, including: ‘Zedd’, ‘Zeds Dead’, and ‘FISHER’. This four-day musical extravaganza promises upwards of 170 shows spread over eight stages, featuring both big names and new faces. Some of the headlining acts include Kesha, Deftones, and Killer Mike, to name a few.
This aside, there’s also ‘Kidzapalooza’, an area that offers activities and performances tailored to the under-eight-year-old. Another characteristic of the festival is consideration for environmental sustainability by encouraging responsible partying through various eco-friendly endeavors. Lollapalooza 2024 will release presales on March 21. These will be general admission and VIP passes. They will release single-day tickets a little later so that the visit can be timed in favour of catching the lineup. But it seems to have all its cards in place this year, with giant performances and pretty much what has been the focus since its modest beginnings back in 1991—being a hallmark for the arts and culture even until now. Whether as headliners or for discovering fresh talents anew, Lollapalooza 2024 may as well cement its position as one of the premier music festivals in North America.
