Don Cheadle and Matt Damon had claimed that they had a time shooting in “Ocean’s Twelve.”
After rising to stardom through Mouse in the 1995 TV movie Devil in a Blue Dress, Cheadle went on to feature as a lead actor with Damon, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney in the 2001 heist comedy “Ocean’s Eleven. ” “That definitely did change things,” he said in the Sept. 8 episode of Sunday Sit-down with Willie Geist.
As Cheadle watched how fame impacted his fellow actors, he said that he considered where he wanted to be in terms of the publicity line. Cheadle is also featured in the sequel that has the title, “Ocean’s Twelve,” which was partly shot in Italy. ‘Paparazzi’s an Italian word’, Cheadle said this on a lighter note.
Still, it was important for Cheadle and Damon and their families to go on location and travel and have fun doing what the tourists do, he explained. “Look, we kind of put on our hats and disguises and try to run around sometimes,” Cheadle reminisced. He also added that they know where to draw the attention if ever they get it.
His leading performance in Hotel Rwanda earned him an Oscar nomination in 2004. He currently plays real-life detective J. D. Hudson from Fight Night: Details about The Million Dollar Heist, a new Peacock television series.
The show, featuring Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Samuel L. Jackson, and others, is adapted from real-life events that occurred during a robbery during the fight of Muhammad Ali in 1970.
Indeed, in the series, Hart plays a different part than what the audiences have become used to when it comes to his performances.
