Judy Greer is the latest addition to Rob Burnetts comedy film ‘In Memoriam’. The script of this film has also been penned by Burnett, who initiated the shooting of the movie this week in Los Angeles and informed us.
It focuses on a washed-up Hollywood star(Marc Maron) who, upon getting diagnosed with terminal-stage cancer, spends all his time plotting how to get an Oscar so that his funeral can be attended by the Academy Awards In Memoriam segment. Nicholas Weinstock and Divya D’Souza of Invention Studios are executive producers, along with Maron, Burnett, and David Martin of Avalon.
Greer has just finished the Lionsgate production of the 1979 Stephen King movie The Long Walk. Apple TV+ saw her recently wrapping up the shooting of Jason Keller’s golf comedy series that features Owen Wilson. The next holiday family comedy – The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, will be released on November 8.
She also acted in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in 2014, War for the Planet of the Apes in 2017, Jurassic World in 2015, Halloween in 2018, Halloween Kills in 2021, Ant-Man in 2015, Ant-Man and Wasp in 2018 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. She ventured into directing when she was selected to direct a comedy-drama motion picture ‘’A Happening of Monumental Proportions, released in 2017. Greer will star in Season 2 of ‘The Last Thing He Told Me,’ A follow-up to the Apple series by Josh Singer, Laura Dave, Reese Witherspoon, and Lauren Neustadter.
