Andrew Garfield performs Spider-Man web-slinging superhero for free if the advertisements sponsor the audience. The 2012 hit Amazing Spider-Man has Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy; in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, there is Aunt May by Sally Field.
The two movies featuring the famous comic character in Marvel Comics had the screenplays Marc Webb provided. The story revolves around Peter Parker, an ordinary high school student who gets bitten by a genetically modified spider and thus gets the abilities of the spider. Parker has to face another bizarre thing about his life back in New York- his parents’ sudden disappearance.
Parker was left at the home of his aunt and uncle when his father’s office was burgled. In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Richard Parker, Parker’s father, is discovered in a voicemail discussing his son’s abduction. The private jet Richard and his wife Mary try to self-launch is hijacked, thus causing the death of the two.
Meanwhile, Peter Parker swings into action after he comes across his father’s co-worker Rhys Ifans, now popular as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard. Thanks to the multiverse, Garfield remained unknown to theatergoers until Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021. In a recent interview, the actor spoke about the possible continuation of Spider-Man 4 from Marvel Studios.
The current trilogy raked in $4 Billion at the global movie office due to the release of Spider-Man Homecoming in 2017, Spider-Man Far from Home in 2019, and No Way Home in 2018. In an interview on working on the 2021 film, Garfield said, “I believe everybody recognized it was incredible.” There was Toby Maguire, the different Spider-Man featured in the 2002 original Spider-Man and two sequels in 2004/2007.
Learning in the comfort of one’s home had never been done before. We knew that people got the seriousness of the occasion, but at the same time, we wanted to have fun. In an interview, Garfield said, ‘Well, at that point, we were all thankful to be there because we got to work, and it was during the pandemic’. But it doesn’t appear fit for Garfield’s comeback for another sequel in production for the fourth part.

IMDB says the movie is still in post-production for the actor’s upcoming film, Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt. Other cast to feature in Too Close will be Will Price, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg, Lio Mehiel, Ariyan Kassam, Julia Roberts, and Chloë Sevigny. Zendya, who played Spiderman’s Mary Jane in the Marvel Television series, acted in Guadagnino’s other cinema, Challengers.
In After the Hunt, a student accuses one of the professor’s colleagues of personal and professional misconduct and hints that a terrible truth about her past might be revealed; the movie is set for release in 2025.
