“In The Social Network 2, will Andrew Garfield portray Eduardo Saverin?”

This fine-looking actor-thespian, who has portrayed Spider-Man, came to fame through a role in the culturally acclaimed David Fincher’s movie ‘The Social Network.’ As for whether he would play Eduardo Saverin again, Andrew Garfield has said something in response to the news of a biographical sequel being in production.

With the sequel to ‘The Social Network‘ being developed, fans have been excited, especially after Sorkin posted recently on Twitter that he is working on the sequel, according to Cinemablend. The screenwriter of the first movie, Aaron Sorkin, revealed in the podcast ‘The Town’ that he is writing a sequel for the film.

However, instead of considering it as a direct sequel, he spoke of it as a sort of “spiritual successor.” In response, he explained that he had renewed the subject due to Facebook’s big influence on global affairs, for example, the January 6, 2021, storming of the Capitol Building. Because Facebook has grown greatly, and due to the challenges inherent in it, Sorkin has been planning to make a sequel since 2019.

Primarily, the cast of the movie has not been announced, but there are good reasons for suspecting that Jesse Eisenberg, who portrayed Facebook’s founder, will be back. Expectations for the successor are to reveal the social impact of Facebook in more detail and discuss new points of view on the participation of the social network in events. As for the possible sequel, Andrew Garfield expresses his enthusiasm and doubts about being Eduardo Saverin once more.

Of course, hailing the storytelling of Sorkin, Garfield told Esquire that he would be delighted to work on the movie if the opportunity came his way. “To my mind, anything Aaron does is going to be powerful and interesting, and if he is following a topic, there is going to be juice involved,” Garfield said.

However, since the software tycoon has been leading a lavish lifestyle in Singapore, he said that Saverin’s personality might not necessarily be relevant to new events. Despite the fact that Garfield’s character was dominant in the first film, it is not sure if he will do the sequel now that Saverin at the moment is more of an inconspicuous type, as Cinemablend stated.

Saverin leads a relatively private life since he and Zuckerberg had a falling out. To get his co-founder position back and for an unknown amount of cash, he made amends for his lawsuit against Facebook.

Today, Saverin is a billionaire and co-founder of the Singaporean venture capital company B Capital Group. His participation might be limited for the same reason, and indeed, his life appears to have largely moved from the dramatic themes captured in The Social Network. Nevertheless, the fans would like to see him come back to one of his best productions of the show.
