Florence Pugh did not attend the London premiere showing of her new movie ‘We Live in Time’, but one of her co-stars was present in the person of her cardboard doppelgänger. Unfortunately unable to attend the BFI London Film Festival on October 17, Andrew Garfield took a paper to the event and made Pugh’s life-size stand-in his date on the red carpet.
A life-size stand of Pugh was in an illuminating black polka dot bodysuit, including high-rising briefs held by the 41 years of age actor, and he even clicked a few sunny views with it. Pugh, 28, also liked the humorous Bullard’s approach and shared her opinion on Instagram. She apologized for her absence and expressed her support from afar by raising a glass in a mail: “I don’t feel right not being able to be there to celebrate it, but I will type ‘Cheers’ from a distance.” Love to you all.
Garfield even cracked a joke that immediately became famous, and everyone found it humorous and entertaining that there was a tribute to Tim’s co-star. Pugh, however, answered well on his social media, telling everyone that it was “genius” and then a cheerful “Well done, Andrew.” The premiere of ‘We Live in Time’ saw Garfield walking about in a teal suit, a dashing yellow scarf, and a checkered shirt.
The movie shows him and Pugh as a couple, Tobias and Almut, who meet each other strangely: Tobias is run over by a car that Almut is operating. It takes you through their love and how it blossoms, but problems crop up when Almut is diagnosed with cancer; the power in the tinge stems from how much they cherish the time they have despite every ill that could befall them. Screened by John Crowley, the film tells a touching love story of several years and shows some oscillations in their love affairs.
After running through the Toronto International Film Festival in September, ‘We Live in Time’ received its standing ovation, proving that the audience has been moved because of their performances or perhaps the emotional value of the film. Garfield told ‘PEOPLE magazine that when they first met, he was nervous working with Pugh, with whom he has always been shy and takes time to open up.
However, once he was familiar with her, their connection strengthened to the point where it could be seen on screen. This film is playing in select theaters before its expansion on October 18, and fans of the two actors are all set to witness powerful performances on the screen.
